Im 18 and I have what few people would call a social life I havent had a girlfriend in 9 years, im a virgin and I have no self esteem. Im wondering if I should just get whatever I can or wait and try to get someone who I would really want? Help me please.

Not everybody thinks with their other head. You're 18 - focus on your education and making a career. The right girl is somewhere making her way towards you. It might be sooner, or might be later, but when others are looking back and trying to wonder who they got that STD from, you'll have nice fat pockets, a clean bill of health, and a hot girl on your arm.

Do not lose your self esteem, what you need is a positive attitude I SWEAR! Show people that you are friendly and willing to pursue something... dont just give in, there is someone out there waiting for you, you just have to be willing to find her =)
just have faith in yourself first!
