My mate and I have these arguments that just doesn't make any scence to me and it's always about what he thinks nd it's never about my point of view. I feel there should be some type of compromising going on. right?

There should be compromise, and if you guys are thinking that the relationship could possibly be a marriage thing, think long and hard cause right now it seems as if you are on a one way street to separation if the arguments dont stop and the understanding and listening dont kick in. But ask yourself this also, are you yourself being a good listener, non-confrontational, and reasonable in your answers and conversations with him. If you arent then you have found one problem and once you solve that things will definitely be easier.

Men don't understand women unless we help them to. You're right about the compromise. Tell your boyfriend that you'd appreciate some balance in the relationship.

No, and they never will. But this reminds me of a joke.

One day, this guy saves a little girl from being hit by a car. God sees this, and say to the guy, "Becuase of your selfless act, I will grant you one wish."

The guy wanted a highway built to Hiawii, since airfares were to expenses.

God responded "I'm not sure if I could do this. The pillars will have to be really deep, and the amount of concrete needed will take to long to cure."

So the guy's second request was to understand women.

God's only response to this was, "How many lanes do you want the highway to be"

Your opinion should matter, it is not that men don,t understand women they just don't want too, my ex husband was like that, he had to be the man and lay down the rules, so now he is my ex and i am quite happy with the situation. Everything does not have to be about control.

Men understand women the same as women understand men lol if that helps..

It is trivial asking if men and women understand each other.

be more specific when thinking about it to yourself. ask yourself this:
Why do we argue about his ideas?
Why doesnt HE understand me?
and Why dont I understand him?

Hehe
just nod smile and cheerfully say "i see your point, its a pretty good one"(even when its horrible) and then be like.. "what you think about my point?"

best compromise is to just accept him and lovem for his stupid self

Ideas and values are in the core of who people are and if your thoughts dont match up maybe you guys just dont work.

Your mate is being selfish . You both should have point of views .
Compromising is 50-50..Not all about one person.

Some people are just hard headed. Ask him why he always has to be right. It might be that he likes to hear himself talk. Ask him if he respects your opinion and if he would be more willing to talk instead of arguing. You can make up your mind from there, besides, he is just you bf, right??
