any skin lesion that is itching does need to be seen by a doctor, you can try a caladryl lotion, I am not sure if benadryl is available as lotion over the counter, you can also take any itch ointment over the counter, You do want to see a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen or if new symptoms develope, good luck
