The Montel Williams Show and Maury both offer these things to guests willing to go on TV with their requests. Do you have a name to go on or any other info? Like, date of birth, place of birth etc. Ancestry.com is a good site to subscribe to for information such as you seek. Best of luck in your search. P.S. also, try white pages.com---type in his name in search---this will bring you to an option to be able to locate people and get their personal information.
if you are adopted, try contacting city hall in you birth state, you will have to hire an atty. to get your birth records--and maybe fathers info. adoption records are locked up in town halls--a judge will allow you to get your information.
