We are all humans, and we make mistakes. You were hurt by someone who made a mistake. Don't let that stand in the way of the relationship between you and God.
Jesus wants us to be members of a church, to be part of a community with our Chirstian brothers and sisters. Together, we are the mystical body of Christ.
You must forgive others as God forgives you. You must love your neighbor as yourself. These are not options, they are necessary for your relationship with God. Don't let anything get in the way between you and salvation.

Charlotte, it all depends on the problem.
Did an individual member say something to you? Call them. Tell them how you feel and ask them to explain. I did this recently and found out the other person and I were in the same place, at the same time and in parallel interactions and she was not signaling disapproval to me. I had been upset and a small offense was becoming a big one..
Did someone in the ministry do something? Consider going to a different Church if you don't believe their reasoning is sound.

Do you mean physically going back to church or just going back to God? I also got hurt in the church and it's taken me awhile to allow God back into my life. I started out by saying little prayers to myself during the day. Once I was okay with that, I started to go to church once a month. As long as you believe, I don't think that God ever leaves us. Hope this helps!

Churches are run by people. People will disappoint, let us down and hurt us. Ask God for guidance. He may be leading you elsewhere or maybe you were meant to stay and make a difference. Either way, don't let mere mortals keep your from growing and learning more.

i'm on medicaid besides and only had mine executed 2 weeks in the past. i became able to have 4 photos because of the fact i'm having twins. With my final I have been given to have 2 of them. I even have never heard of them no longer letting you have them only because of the fact you're on Medicaid. i comprehend that Mediciad pushes for decrease than a million ultrasound to be executed except mandatory for greater severe motives or except the Dr pushes for it. i'd communicate on your worker first and ask her to envision into it and if she says that it relatively is no longer a State Medicaid difficulty then i'd request to maintain some out of your Dr or locate yet another Dr. the photos are something mom and dad carry directly to and are very significant i does not enable them to take that suitable removed from you. Congrats and robust success

Okay, well how about going to another church? I think you should forgive whoever hurt you at your former church, however....but regardless of what has been done ....get back into fellowship with God's people. It's a command from the Lord to NOT forsake the assembling of ourselves together.....
God Bless you!

don't know how you got hurt but everyone gets hurt once in a while. if you feel in your heart this was serious and intentional call the minister, priest or rabbi and talk with them. they are professionals and can help ease and explain the situation. if unintentional go back and just take the situation as a learning experience. if you feel uncomfortable in going back suggest you try another church.

Look past the people to the God you love. The people will let you down every time. Go there to worship and learn from God. Perhaps he'll even use you to help someone else who may be disscouraged or hurt.
PS - this may mean you'll have some opportunities to practice forgiveness...

If God is real in your life, Ask yourself why you think attending church services will make it more real. That is really the question you need to ask yourself. If attending services is what you wish to do for your spirituallity - then try different churches - different religions until you find one that you feel good about, where you feel love, warmth and compassion. Hope that helps.
