What do you think is the appropriate age to start "dating" or having boyfriends and girlfriends?
Im 12, and many people in my grade have gf/bf's. They sit by each other at lunch, maybe go to the movies and they might hug and kiss sometimes. Do you think that's appropriate for this age?

Also, alot of the kids at my school are mature. Basically everyone has a crush, so yeah.

it doesnt matter its not like they can have a kid. nothing serious. puppy love.

I think 13 is a good age to start dating and having boyfriends and girlfriends, but 12 is ok I guess.

No, 12 is way too young to have a boyfriend/girlfriend.....14 and up is a more appropriate age

How plenty youthful or what age? i does not date somebody greater suitable than 2 years youthful. yet while i'm older i'd date everyone over 18. Who does not desire a plenty youthful trophy spouse?

yeah...sounds fine to me...i started at 16...waited it out...i think it really depends though...i don´t think at 12 kids should be making out, but from what u´re describing, it sounds fine to me...it sounds sweet...i think that people should be allowed to love and be loved at any age -- no matter how old or how young, but that there need to be guidelines set by the parents and the couples as to how far is alright...i say anything but sex is fine -- just don´t get an STD or pregnant. LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL:)

I think that it is fine for twelve year olds to have boy or girlfriends, as long as it is not getting to serious. At that age it is more of a status thing than an actual relationship, but there is no harm done.

I wasnt allowed to date untill I was 16, but that still didnt stop me from having a boyfriend. I think it's ok only if you dont get sexual. Youre too young for that =]

Well, I think it's a little young to start dating. My parents didn't let me date til I was 16. I suppose when I have kids, I will too.

no, i think you are too young to know what you're getting into. dating is a very emotional rollercoaster and your body is going through enogh changes at this age to even add dating to the mix. wait until high school and even then don't let things get too serious.
