I see no reason why they shouldn't. Can't you can love God & a wife also. Don't you think they should be able to have the love of a good woman or if they happen to be gay a good man? I could never understand why they were not allowed to marry or date since pastors, ministers & reverands do.

Yes, Protestant pastors, ministers and reverends do indeed marry, and they also have one of the highest rates of divorce by occupation. Could this possibly have something to do with God's Word spoken through Paul, that a full time minister of the Church should remain celibate, lest he be divided between his clerical responsibilities and his family responsibilities? My pastor (Catholic) is a priest 24/7. He is serving the community from dawn until late into the evening almost every day of the week, and also gets called out during the night for emergencies. What wife would want to put up with that?

I don't know if allowed is the right term. I think just should they is better--- because they are already married to the Church is the main answer. There is not enough time for a priest to do what is right by his wife and what is right by his Church. this is just an argument to try to point out anything bad against the Catholic Church. It is Jesus' institution of the priesthood that people do not understand. The priesthood is for the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of Heaven is not of this world so why do we try to judge things not of this world by this world's standards?

Perhaps they should have the option. There are priests who are married. If a minister of another faith becomes Catholic and wants to become a priest he is allowed. If they choose to remain celibate that is wonderful, but I don't really see anything wrong with giving them the option. It will be up to the Pope and Cardinals of Rome with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to decide. I support whatever they decide.

God bless,

I believe they should live as Jesus lived. Celibate.

As a married person I realize the commitment that my vocation takes on my time. Imagine trying to raise children, manage on spouse relationship and the needs of 1500 families spiritual needs. I honestly don't think it is possible to serve two vocations.

Deacons are our married resources in the ordained community, but the Church does not give them to much responsibility over their marriage.

I believe they should live as Jesus lived. Celibate.

I'm not Catholic. Yes, I believe they should be allowed to marry. Considering they're ministering to families, individuals, makes sense.

It says so that marriage is ordained of God. We even have a heavenly mother, and we are put on this earth for God to test us and prove us and be like him so that we, one day can be as he is. So I see every reason why we SHOULD marry.

It only makes sense that a person has experience with marriage and family life should marry people, and give parenting advice.

Fake priest, no. True Priest of Yahweh as commaned in the scriptres are allowed to marry read the following stipulations......

Ezekiel 44:22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her who is put away (divorced); but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.

23 They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

24 In a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to my ordinances shall they judge it: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts; and they shall make my Sabbaths holy.

25 They shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves.

26 After he is cleansed, they shall reckon to him seven days.

27 In the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, says Yahweh.

28 They shall have an inheritance: I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession.

29 They shall eat the meal offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.

30 The first of all the first fruits of every thing, and every offering of everything, of all your offerings, shall be for the priest: you shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house.

31 The priests shall not eat of anything that dies of itself, or is torn, whether it be bird or animal.

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the prophecy: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

This is how you can tell the true priest, they uphold all of the Commandments of Yahweh, unlike Satan's ministers who tell you anything againist the Holy Scriptrures.

These Scripures tell you what a true Priest of Yahweh will be teaching and doing.

1 TIMOTHY 3:15
But if I am delayed, I write so that you may know the right and proper way to conduct yourself in THE HOUSE OF YAHWEH, who are the called out ones of the living Father, the pillar and ground of the truth.

here is the way to TRUTH......

Yes they should. The Bible says "to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and every woman her own husband." If they want to be totally commited to the church, fine. But if they can't handle celibacy, let them marry. There is nothing in the Bible that says that they can't.

They go by a different type of bible. They have the Holy Bible then another one that tell them what they are to be like .. Some parts of the bible tells you that .In the Old Testament time before the Christ died and change all that. So yes I feel that they should be able to marry . Maybe if they did they wouldn't molest young children.
