*To prove to the possum it could actually be done!
*There was a car coming.
*The chicken was an illegal immigrant. He not only crossed the road, but he also crossed the border! There are over 12 million illegal chickens in this country.
*There was free beer on the other side of the road.
* We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either with us or it is against us. There is no middle ground here.
*Out of custom and habit.
*Because it could not stop for death.
*I forget.
*To prove it could never reach the other side.

Anytime anyone crosses a road, he is doing it to get to the other side. The question is: WHY does he want to get to the other side.
Now that's a head scratcher.
Maybe he wants to get away from the boogeyman. Maybe he wants to go to a Pizza Hut that is on the other side of the road. Or...maybe he is just bored and needs something to do. In any case, let's just hope that he looks both ways before making the journey. = )

Well, I know why the HALF chicken crossed the road: To get to its other side!

Ohh McDonald had a farm eeey-i eeeey-i ohhhh huh whats this? Ohhhh the farm looks different then usual. Oh my look at all the people come to see me. Cool said the chicken once he got inside the farm he noticed his family were all dead and that people were eating them. SO NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK OF McDonalds hahahahahahaha
