You could always stop by at a local medical supply shop and pick up a dummie of your own. When I was working to become certified I practiced on oversized, heavy pillows which I drew the actual parts of the body on (I wouldn't recommend doing this to a family members pillow... designate one :P).

Do NOT under any circumstances practice on a living human being. This could cause their heart rate to increase, which there-in could result in a heart attack or even cardiac arrest (in which you'd actually have to begin doing CPR on that person).

I encourage my students to keep up their skills by practising on pillows or large stuffed animals (huge teddy bears add more realism but not all the important) as all you really want to do is practise your hand positions and count - just remember to unplug the "nose" after you "breathe" in!

Well, you can't practice on a living human. There's too much chance of breaking the sternum or a rib.

Unfortunately, no. If you practice on a living person, it could kill them by causing the heart to go into ...ummm, something that I can't remember the name of, but it ain't good. They can die from it.
