Im doing a science fair project on chickens..the title is,"Does light affect how many eggs chickens lay?"

Yes, with longer lighting periods comes increased productivity. In winter months, egg producers put artificial lights on their birds so their production doesn't slow up.

16 hours of light, I believe, is the target rate for maximum egg production.
