I look NOT for cheap love spells, or things to make me instantly "successful", I'm just very interested in the topic, and I'm wondering if there are some good books about said topic. Thank you for your answers.

Please...if I wish to play with fire, I shall do just that. (In response to an "answer")

Not only that...but I never said I would become Wiccan, only that I wish to have more knowledge on the subject.

Hi :)
I have read some really good books lately that deals with paganist concepts. They are the Dark Mirror trilogy by Juliet Marillier. Please believe me when I say that these books will blow your mind. I am EXTREMLY FUSSY when it comes to books but these ones were amazing. (They are set in Scotland and deals with the Picts, the ancient celtic people of scotland. The author is also interesting in pagan spirituality)
As far as Wicca goes...
Earth Magic: A Dianic Book of Shadows by Marion Weinstein
The Element encyclopedia of 5000 spells by Judika Illes (Quite interesting)
Exploring Wicca : the beliefs, rites, and rituals of the Wiccan religion by Lady Sabrina
The practice of witchcraft today- by Robin Skelton
A good way start is to cultivate a deep respect for nature and everything in it. I always treat life as precious, whether it's a human or an ant. I don't know how I'll ever gain wisdom if I dont respect the essence of existence. Also dont believe everything you read or hear. Your mind is your own and if something feels wrong, dont force yourself to believe it because it seems authentic. Absorb what you read and dont worry about "following" certain ways. This way, wisdom will seek you, not you it.

"Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft" by Raymond Buckland
"A Witches' Bible: The Complete Witches' Handbook" by Janet and Stewart Farrar
"Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham
Those three are very good. I've not read them in their entirety (I work more with Thelemic magick at the moment), but many advanced Wiccans--at least the ones I know--highly recommend those. It is also general consensus that avoiding books by Silver Ravenwolf is a recommended course of action. She sometimes gets her facts wrong, and sometimes will outrightly use wrong terminology.

General occult books on magic were written by Leadbetter, Crowley, and Dian Fortune. Depends on whether you are looking for occult theory or just information about the religious aspects of Wiccan practice.

Anything written by the Janet and Stewart Farrar is a great place to start!
The first book I read on the topic was, "Spiral Dance," by Starhawk. It started me on this journey and I've never looked back.

PaganRebirth has some good suggestions. I would add to that:
"The Truth about Witchcraft Today" by Scott Cunningham

just do a yahoo or google search and you should find a whole bunch of information on what you're looking for and you won't have to spend any money on any books

Honey, don't go there.
You're playing with fire, and you will get burned.
