I have been getting 3 - 6 bites (sometimes 2-3 in clumps) all over me every morning when I wake up. I can't really remember how long I've been getting them but I've been getting more over the last week and 1/2. I do have a kitten who lived outdoors sleeping in my bed, he's been there two weeks. He does not have fleas, but he does have ear mites. My sheets were just changed. Any clue of what this is and how to get rid of them? They are really awful... any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be that you are having a reaction to the cats hair but honestly, I think that it might fleas. Sometimes animals can have fleas and you dont see them or they dont seem to be bothering the animal. I would go to a pet store and apply some frontline and see if that works.

Are you in an area or housing situation that's prone to bed begs. I experienced a serious bed bug infestation when I was living in Portugal. All the conditions where right (warm climate, homes that were right next to each other, and wood floors).

If you ever see one they look like fleas, but larger, and the bites are pretty similar looking to flea bites too (little red dots)...and they're called bed bugs for a reason (they live in your bed even when you clean your sheets).

If this is what you've got -I'm sorry, they're awful. All I can say is Fog the room with bug killer!!! (and sleep somewhere else when you do).

good luck!

I remember I had the same thing and I have a cat and dog... Dog is always in house... But I would wake up the same way bites all over me, very irritating I used hydrocorisone. My mom said that was the dog's hair.. We quit letting the dog in the house and it cleared up its been a year or two since the last bite.. Maybe the same with your cat. Try not to make as much contact.. Wash all your sheets, pillows, etc.

Brush your kitty and really make sure she doesnt have fleas because your bites sound like either flea bits, or bed bugs-- both are unpleasant---

I would suggest using the attachments from your sweeper and vacuuming your mattress and the floor below it- wash all bedspreads, pillows, etc (hot water). Your cleaning should get rid of any eggs that may have been laid by either bug and you should be "bite-free"

It sounds like bed bugs! I think you need an extermenator to check out your bed. Changing the sheets would not help.

Allergies, bed bugs or fleas. In any case check your mattress.

If they are really bites then it is either fleas or bedbugs. Both suck yiur blood. Supposedly bedbugs are on the rise again
