To those of you who think this is a dumb question and that you cant receive any more medals once your out thats incorrect. Sometimes the government goes back and issuses medals to people who were at a certian event.(ie. hurricane andrew:when the army was called up for hurricane andrew relief they recived a presidential citation about 6 months later) And i also dont want people to think i am some glory hound only looking to get as many medals as possible. I am putting something together for my kids is all i think it will mean more to them than it does me. Thanks for your help everybody

Great Idea.
There are different places (Bureau of Personal) across the country that will check out and send you the medals for free. Postage free.
They are a work of art.
In the Midwest, it's at St. Louis.
Check with your local VFW or American Legion.
A person deserves EVERY medal that he is entitled too. It's not being a glory hound.
Once you get them all, you can buy duplicates from Medal Catalogs, so you can leave a full set to each child.
Bless you for your service. And me too.
Thank you.
