The Bible does say to "marry only in the Lord," but hardly any religions claiming to be Christian follow that command :(

Marriage of a believer and a non-believer shall be forbidden.

Depends what religion it is. I am a FORMER member of a particular religion who claimed the scripture "Be not unequally yoked together", to mean just that.

The Bible says "marry only in the Lord" so it would be foolish to date someone and risk falling in love with someone who did not love and obey God. As far as I know, it is not a rule, however, just a suggestion.

No, but if you are seriously thinking about getting married I would consider this. God says not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. I think he said this because mainly he knew that people would fight over this. You want your kids to go here, they want them there. He wants to take them to the bar, but you want to take them to church. You kinda get what I'm saying. If it is TRUE love, love overcomes everything.

No, not at all. The Apostle Paul warns us that if we (Christians) marry a non-Christian we will have unnecessary troubles.

no, as it doesn't matter as long as the two people are happy and get along well together.
