Go ahead if you want it for shock value. Personally I've not seen a person who looks good with that combination of color but people still do it. I think it's more attractive for women to stay just a few shades lighter (no more than 3 shades lighter) than their natural color.
But if you indeed have natural black hair color what's more beautiful than healthy shiny black hair? Sounds gorgeous!

If you dye your hair to black, and try to highlight it again, it's going to take a very long time to get to the color highlight you want. When your hair has so much dye on it (which in this case would be the black) it takes a long time to strip the colour out to make the highlights appear. It also could damage your hair. If anything, it'd be easier to color your hair brown again and do the peek-a-boo highlights. That's a fun look! :)

ELGH!! Black hair is naturally very sleek and smooth, don't ruin it with fake blonde. It'll look like a "STEELERS" jersey, no joke. The black or brown would be good, but no blonde.

NOOOOOO, that is a big DON'T!!!! O.K, so I have brown hair, and a exboyfriend, we decided it might be cool to do something to his hair, because he didnt like it. We thought of blond streeks, or a pekaboo. Now, i'm not saying you look like my exboyfriend, (if u do, u r a total HOTTIE!), but it looked HORIBLE. Brown and blond are o.k tougether, but black and blond DO NOT CLASH!!!

heck no black and blonde are a horrible combination. it looks fake. you may want to to consider getting a dark brown one though, that looks good.
