They should take you to a safe home where your father cannot hurt you. They will ask a lot of questions of both you and your father. They will probably take you to the hospital to make sure you are ok.

Hi. I was a CPS Case Specialist for a year before I became a lawyer. I can tell you EXACTLY what will likely happen. When CPS is called the case goes to an investigator and is given a priority. The nature of your injuries makes it likely that you will be seen by an investigator with 24 to 48 hours. They will speak with you and probably your father. Children are removed when it is deemed by the investigator that they are not safe. I don't know the whole story but unfortunately there is a possibility from the facts you've given that you might have to leave your home. Usually the investigator will look for other family members, and even ask your mother (if you have one) to take you away from the person who hurt you. If they are unable to do this, or no one exists you might be placed in a temporary shelter or foster home. CPS will then immediately put services in for your father and you. These will likely include counseling, drug testing, parent-aide services and more. CPS may also keep you in your home if they deem it necessary and put very intensive services in your home such as counseling and a parent-aide service. It depends on your state and what resources are available. The most important thing is to be totally honest with CPS, and allow them to help you. Most all CPS workers believe in their work and have your best interests at heart. Most states have a policy that are focused on keeping children safe, but at the same time helping their families become more healthy. All agencies will attempt to reunify you with your family before they do something drastic. Tell them what happened, be honest, and trust them. They will offer you the same courtesy and respect. Good luck.

First they will investigate the complaint and if they feel you are in immediate danger they will remove you from the home. If you have relatives that are suitable they will let you stay with them and order your dad to pay support and if he does not they will give whoever keeps you a check every month from the state. They will encourage your dad to attend anger management classes to regain custody of you. If he complies with the steps they ask him to take he will get custody back. If they determine that you are not in immediate danger they will let you guys stay together if you have counseling and anger management.
Some people are resistant to seeking counseling and see it as a sign of weakness so don't be too disappointed if he refuses but I hope and pray things work out for you.
If I were you I would think long and hard about what will best for you and tell your case worker what you want.
