Did you use the Dawn dishwater soap? That's what they use for wildlife coated from an oil spill as it cuts the grease. If that didn't work too well I would call around to a few groomers locally and see if they think they might be able to improve her coat.

I would also ask her veterinarian if he has any ideas.

Dawn dish soap will probably work. On the new commercial for the soap, it says that they use it on animals they find in oil spills (and it does a pretty darn good job of cutting grease with the dishes!), so why not use it on a cat who has car oil on her fur?

Try to give her a bath with Dawn the dish soap----it is good at getting oil off stuff....After you bathe her with dawn and you get it all off give her another bath with regular cat soap...that should do the trick if not ask your vet.....

Use some liquid dish soap to remove any oil from your cat's fur. You really don't need to bathe the whole cat to do this.

i would wash her with some dish soap like dawn it will break up the oil then make sure you rinse very well, thats what they use on birds when theres an oil spill in the ocean so it shouldnt hurt it.
