This girl and I have been dating not too long. (>1wk) . She is likes me and I like her too. She's invited me to her place where we kissed, hugged.. It turns out that she's just broken up with her BF. I am afraid that I could be the rebound. She's one of my classmates. What bothers me that she keeps telling people that we know that we are seeing each other to prevent rumors from spreading. I don't know what to do. Should I abstain from her or what? I have started to have feelings for her. Your response in any shape or fashion means alot to me. I am thinking also that the reason that she keeps telling people of our relationship is because this is what she always wanted and her joy in being in the relationship. Again this is all a guess on my part

Holy crap!! are u the me in me? lol My GF got really pissed when i called everyday and always told her i love her now i hard;y say that. I ignore her alot they will get in ur way if u do that and i love it. U could be the rebound. Ask her that question just walk up to her and say "Hey i just want to ask u a question, why did u break up with ur BF? and am i just ur Rebound? do u really have feelings for me or should i look for someone else?" U say exactly that and if they something about it and get upset, tell u to find someone else they there u go u got ur answer she didn't care about u much to hold on to u. Thats what i did with mine and thats how im still with her its been 3 in 1/2 years and now were talkin about marrage ^_^

You could either be a rebound and she is telling everyone in hopes of making her ex jealous or she could genuinely like being your gf and is happy to announce to everyone that you guys are dating. If she is announcing your relationship and then being standoffish to you, then I'd say it's rebound. It's all about how she treats you in private that will tell you her true intentions with you.

You could do two things, my first piece of advice would for you just to take it slow a bit, slower than normal. Second bit of advice you could do is sit her down and be truth full with her, but doing this might lead her down the wrong path, meaning she might think that you think she's not that much into you, and she could blow up at you.. so have fun with it

If you really like her then why are you considering abstaining from seeing her? What difference does it make if she tells people that she is seeing you? Maybe she is happy to be seeing you and wants to share it.

I think she is trying to make her ex jealous because your relationship is "your relationship" plus, usually in the beginning stages, you tend to be more bashful about it.

she lets other people know that you two are in a relationship yet she has not told that you are in one. she must be using you to get over her ex. please move on before your feelings towards her become too strong to bear.
