50 regular push ups will not be easy. Chest, Shoulder, and tricep strength will need to be built before you can start. Do modified push ups until you can get to 50.

Once you can do that you should start in the push up position and lower your self down to the ground, if you cant come back up do modified push ups from your knees until your arms are fully extended-lift your knees up and lower yourself back down. Repeat that.

Do not do push ups more than once a day at this point, you need to rest the muscles and repair a little.

good luck!

Easy, start off doing wall pushups at 50 a day until you can do one hundred. you basically do a man pushup standing and then when you can easily do all fifty in a few weeks try a few man push ups on the ground you should be able to do at least one to five. Then graduate yourself to girly pushups 100 a day and eventually those man pushups will be a piece of cake. I had brothers dude so I never had to ask this problem lol

Think big, start small.

Start with the "girly" pushups. The ones where your legs are bent. Just do as many of those as you can. Increase the number when you feel stronger. When you're at the point you can easily do 20 or so, switch to doing the "manly" ones. You'll be able to do much less, but if you keep with it, you'll build up strength eventually.

Or you could just do as many "man" ones as you can, even if it's only one. You'll build up your strength that way as well.

I just think that by doing the girly ones first and building up some strength before switching, you're getting some pay off. It sounds better and feels better (perhaps) to say I can do 10 girly pushups than to say I can do one guy pushup.

Also, I've found that the best way to build up strength to do something is to DO it. For instance, I like to work on my hand/wrist/forearm strength before motorcycle season starts. But even though I do that, it still takes a while before my hand is in good shape for riding. After a few rides though, I'm good as ever.

Do some chest weight lifting, lay on your back and bench press. That should help. Also some arm exercises. Do as many push ups you can at a time. Do them about 3-4 times a day everyday. Over the next month you will be able to do them. It takes a little time for those muscles to build.

Do as many as you can. Push yourself. I'm sure you can pull one off. Keep at it, and keep your goal in mind and I'm sure you will soon be able to do it.
