In all of the psalms he HUMBLES himself before God! That is NOT whining. That is being in love with the Lord- knowing that He wants God's will over his own. He also praises the Lord in many of the psalms--even when things go bad for him- he still praises and rejoices in the Lord- and that is why the Lord took care of him and blessed him~

David was obviously Bi-Polar,but Job....he lost his kids ,his crops ,his animals and then broke out in huge boils.He sits outside cutting his "zits" open with broken pottery,I think I'd be a little "bummed out",huh?His wife says "Curse God and die!" I might of smacked her one.

His kingdom was almost stolen by his son, so he was begging for God to save him as he was hiding out in the wilderness in caves. I would be desperate myself if I was in that situation.
