In the city that I live in if your child acts out of line in school or out in the streets the police and immediately called in and the child receives an on the spot beating. I have seen on more than one occasion children being beaten bloody and bruised for stealing, lying and doing other unruly things. Many parents have complained and even tried to sue the police department but all the city says is this is our rule and if you don't like it move. Should the police be allowed to beat your child senseless??

Hitting a child to where bleeding or bruising happens is child abuse no matter if it is you or a policeman that is doing it. This is of course illegal. The city is probably just telling the parents this so they won't get into "trouble".

If I were you I would contact higher authority. If it is just the city and the mayor or anybody will not do anything then go to the governor. If still nothing is done, then by all means go the media. This is something the media would eat up, and you can bet something would be done then.

I agree with you, however. We have a few close friends which work for the police dept. They always say, if possible they will take someone quietly. One occasion, had a kid hopped up on all kinds of meth, among other things, who attacked them once they told him he was under arrest, they did have to take him down (rather hard) I think he was only 15 or 16 (very sad). Sorry I don't feel for kids in those situations. They deserve everything they get.
Your right though, my friends also said, many cops are full of themselves, and love an opportunity to use undue force such has pepper spray. Seems like this is the case in your situation.

No and I would check into this a lot further if I were you. Police officers are there to stop violence not promote it. I am a mother myself and if I ever saw such a thing and got the answer you have gotten, I would move immediately. You may be able to protest against it or have the law changed if you make a big enough deal about it!

Good Luck and keep the kids protected!

Beating somebody up for being bare is criminal. you may nicely be slightly off on your requirement that the placement be existence threatening earlier you may shelter your self. the time-honored rule is proportionality. you may shelter your self from injury in any problem, yet once you kill somebody, the placement would would desire to be existence-threatening to fall below self-defence. That suggested, the police have discretion no rely if to arrest and would charge human beings in many situations. For the guy who would beat a bare individual, if that individual regarded at their little ones, i think sorry on your little ones. what variety of lesson is that? you're beating up somebody who's in all threat mentally ill. you're coaching your little ones that violence is an answer and that's reprehensible. As for morality, listed decrease than are in my view, the only honorable cases to combat: a million. In defence of self, acquaintances, kin or us of a. 2. In opposition, consented to by utilising the two events.

Time for the parents to get active but also time for the parents to take hold of their children and stop them from doing those things.

you need to right the Governor or the senate or some one. That its not acceptable to do that to anyone especially a child what ever city you live in needed to be investigated because that cruel and unusual punishment i believe that is against the law as well.

No. If bloods involved I'd reccomend calling the government or something being done about this. That's child abuse.
