how can i reset an inertia switch on a 94 dodge intrepid?

i recently hit a ditch with my intrepid, the car stalled out and wont restart. battery fuel and starter all fine. i don't know much about cars but a friend of mine mentioned an inertia switch. is this something someone with limited knowledge can fix. i really dont have much cash to pay for repairs.

chrysler products do not have inertia switches.
Only on Ford Makes and Models
