This is a trick question. You said you have two coins and one of them is not a quarter. Since you said one of them is not a quarter that means you have one Nickle. By the way this isn't a quarter, so one of them is not a quarter. Then the other coin you have is a quarter. You only said one of them was not a quarter, you did not say both of them were not quarters, so I can use one quarter and one nickle to make two coins equal 30 cents. Nice trick question as I had to think about this one. Thanks for the question.
