and/or my printer so that I can email some to friends including to my own yahoo 360 blog. Anyone give simple steps or refer me to a program I can buy that takes the guessing out? Thanks.

There should have been a driver disk that was included with the camera if it has a USB port. If you don't have a disk, download the drivers from the camera manufacturer's website. Install the drivers, reboot, plug in camera with USB cable to a unused USB port on your PC. An icon representation of your camera should now appear in "My Computer" whilst the camera is plugged in. You may now "drag and drop" your files from the camera to your chosen folder on the harddrive.

Your camera should have come with a cord to connect to your computer. You can transfer them directly from your camera using that cord, or take the memory card out and use a card reader.
