Well, I've always been very sensitive, and can get into some pretty bleak arenas emotionally. My last break-up hit me very hard and took a long time to get over.

However, I have a chronic disease that can be pretty darned painful - to the point where I went to get xrays before I was diagnosed because I thought I must have broken something. So I guess I'll have to go with physical, because I'm very aware that if I don't keep my disease under control the pain will be constant.

Emotional pain.

I can't really put a heating pad on my emotional pain.
Also, you have to heal the emotional pain whereas physical pain you just rest and the body does all the work.

Emotional. Physical pain usually heals a little quicker. Emotional pain can linger, recur or even intensify with time and cause other problems.

Emotional hurts more because physical pain can be forgotten (i.e.bruises, cuts, scars)and they go away or fade. But emotions are hard because they stay, sometimes for years.

i say emotional because when phisical pain heals you never get that same type of pain again but with emotional pain, little things can bring that pain back like pictures or even a simple song.

The greatest pain for me, the pain that cuts deepest and lasts longest, is betraying my own principles.

It is in reliving that experience, which I often do in dreams.

Hurting others, lying, cheating.

That's what I did when I was a practicing alcoholic/addict.
