I'm from Norway, and here there isn't much talk about black and white, but often I'll see something TV or the net that gets me thinking. I find some black girls very attractive (I'm blue eyed, blonde btw), but I've noticed that there are a lot of prejudices, at least in the US, towards white boys and men (and vice versa). I've read that some black girls think white guys only want them for sex. I think that is very judgemental. Also, I once knew this black girl who dated a white boy who she used because he gave her things. I hear about how some black girls say all white men think black women are irresistible. Sounds like white people in general are seen as dull, non-sexual (or too sexual), hateful etc. So, I wonder what people here (black girls in particular) think about dating white boys. Personally, I fall for a girl who's cute, sweet, smart, funny. I've never looked down on black girls for being black. That's just stupid! I think personality is a huge part of the attraction.

Well, I'm black and I'm from Germany. It seems like to me that in Europe interracial dating is more acceptable. Only when I came here it seemed to be a big problem, bigger than I expected. I like white guys and I'm dating one. Especially in England I've noticed a lot of white guys dating black women. It's more rare in the States and not as acceptable. Don't get me wrong, some Germans have problems with interracial relationships too, but over here color seems to be such a big issue.

It's still taboo in the U.S.
But, I agree, personality and compatibility should be the deciding factor, instead of race.
It's part cynicism on the part of some black women and part truth. I've heard comments from some white males about having sex with black females and wanting nothing else. Some of the comments were downright cringe-worthy and gave me pause... even though I knew not all white males saw black females that way.
It's mostly about preference. I have friends who are just not attracted to white males; but they're not prejudice... just content with what they have.

Every race of people have their crackpots. Black/ white everyone has it's golddiggers or people who just want someone for sex.
But as long as the love is there I don't see what could be the problem. I've dated black guys before and saw some hatefullness. But only from other white people who called me a Ni**er lover.
I broke a couple of people's noses over that one!
Like the first person said Love is Blind. Date who you want to and screw the rest!

I'm a black girl and I don't really care what race I date. Although I know that some of my friends aren't to fond of white men :( they say that they don't really care for them because u never really see a white guy and black girl. Therefore, they're never really on our minds. It's always black and black. It sometimes feel like guys only like white girls. Like only black guys like us however all races love whit girls. So we pretty much give up and like u said they see us as slutty. Which can be true I'm not gunna lie, I mean we twerk every step we take lol jk. But yea

You can't help who you fall in love with no matter what people think if 2 ppl of different races fall in love so be it ppl arent to judge. (Judge and tho shall be judged)

I grew up around only whites, but I date all races...as long as you're cute, funny, CONFIDENT, unique, have class and are fun...I'm completely for it!

I like dating white guys. My boyfriend who I'm in a long-term relationship with is white, and we plan to get married soon! :)
