Xcelix- I dont know what part of the country you live in, but ALL fast foods are like this all over southern california. Come to California, then you sure will have a different attitude.

No I disagree with you. Where I live there are many signs that say "HIRING" on grocery stores, fast food restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The thing is that some don't want to work at any fast food restaurant they want to work up town in the rich areas and that is not always possible because those restaurants are always full in personnel.

I Disagree with you. I know a teen who refused to even consider working at a fast food restaurant because it was beneath him. He instead chose a place where he made beds, cooked food, washed dishes, cleaned toilets, swept and mopped floors all because it wasn't the traditional fast food place. It was at a camping place but he still did almost all the same things just no fast food.

That doesn't really happen in my part of the US, it is beyond easy to get hired at a fast food place. I have family in California and visit often, so far I've found none of what you said to be true at all.

Not sure if I agree or not. Besides the fruit-pickers, and landscapers, I think most of them work at Mexican restaurants - not fast food. But I'm just going by what I see around my area of Texas.

I'd have to say that they probably can't get the jobs because they are too lazy and playing video games and sitting on their behinds at home in front of the tv because they are spoiled brats. Whereas the 'illegals' as you call them are working because they need the work and they obviously are hard workers if they are the ones occupying the jobs.

I don't agree yet. I've been out of high school too long. Also, immigration is not a really big issue here...yet. I can see it changing. I imagine that your thoughts are in agreement with the direction of developments.

I live in San Diego, California and i've seen that most of fast food employers are usually teenagers. And no, MOST of them are not illegals.

From what I have seen 80% of high school students are too busy playing video games to get a job.

I have not noticed that as a problem but what I have noticed is that as soon as the illegals get into america they are eligable for wefare and medicaide. Those of us who can not afford health insurance are being held hostage for the trash who want to come here for the free medical coverage.
