I love tea (hot and cold). I was wondering if I could mix spiced rum with hot tea. Maybe a gingerbread tea (yummy)! I know that some people add alcohol to hot chocolate. I was wondering if any of you have had tea and alcohol?

Oh certainly...
Hot toddies....hot buttered rum.

This is what I make:
Hot hot tea in a mug.
Add sugar to taste, and a shot or so of rum or brandy.
Squeeze a little fresh lemon, then throw in a 1/2 tsp butter on top.
Nice.

When my hubby is sick with a cold, I give him this with 2 shots, and he recovers quickly.

Blueberry tea!
3/4 ounce Grand Marnier
3/4 ounce Amaretto
fill cup with hot tea
Add a lemon slice and consume.

No reason not to think your idea of Spiced rum and tea won't be delicious too.

i did and i didnt like it but that might be because i mixed it with a lot of alcohol. tea doesnt have a really stong flavor to hide the intense alcohol taste but if you mix it just right im sure it could be pretty good!

Spiced rum is good especially when mixed with coke or orange juice(tends to make good fruity drinks), but personally I like Captain Morgan Select straight.
