Would you believe "genetic anomaly?"

You're being disingenuous, aren't you?

If she has even a speck of black genes in her genome, then YES! When her body makes eggs, the chromosomes that end up in each egg is pretty much random, thanks to genetic recombination. Half of the genes on each chromosome in the gamete come from her dad, and half from her mom. If they are combined in the just the right way, the dominant black genes will show up in the baby. Read the article on Wikipedia about Kian and Remee Hodgson. If you're not sure where her black genes came from, have a paternity test. But just so you know, it is very VERY possible.

yes it is possible for genes to throw back have you ever seen a child that has 2 darkhaired parents and the child has red hair!! that is a throw back from a previous generation but it is not worth messing around with your's and this child's life you will not treat it as well as you could be until you know one way or the other if it is your biological child or not just remember it is not the baby's fault it did not ask to be born get dna now so the baby does not remember any of this uncertainty and tension that is sure to be in your household good luck to you and the baby..

It's possible. Sometime genetic traits skip generations.
True story: My parents are both white, for generations back (mostly Irish/German/Polish blood). Apparently, I was born with dark hair, dark eyes, and dark skin. My grandmother was CONVINCED they'd mixed me up with the Haitian woman's baby my mom shared a room with.
I'm now a pale, freckle-faced Irish girl, through and through.
Give it a few months, find out the family history, if you're still suspicious, have a DNA test done...she should understand your suspicions, even if she thinks you're being ridiculous.
And if you're proven WRONG, be prepared to do some apologizing.

Actually if someone in her family is black and she carries the genes then yes it is possible. If you cannot name one person that is black in her family that isnt an inlaw or actually related to her, as in a mother, father, or grandparents or something like that. Then i doubt its yours but be careful not to assume its not yours just in case it really is yours. I would recommend talking to her mom or dad or grandparents and finding out the truth. If they say theres no one black directly related. I say get a paternity test to make sure and if it proves not to be yours i hope you pick up and move on with life and find someone that doesnt treat you that way...Goodluck to you :)

You might want to start with a paternity test to know for sure..but it is possible that somewhere along her family tree there is a black person. My cousin's childs father is native, and her daughter is whte and very blonde but has been told she could have a dark skinned baby.

It's possible, but extremely rare that a truely white woman would have a black baby from a white father.
It could be a problem with her jeans, not her genes.
If she took them off for the wrong guy... and
If you didn't have such an eeny weenie penie, she wouldn't feel the need to go find a big one.

Well, it is technically possible that if both you and her have African ancestors in recent family history that a baby you have together might look fairly "black". However, the simplest answer is usually the correct one (it's not yours) -- but have a proper paternity test if you really believe it might be yours.

it COULD have been a recessive gene from a grandparent, parent, or even a great-grandparent but the chances on that if she doesn't show any characteristics are slim to none....ya might want a paternity test from a doctor

Yes this can be true. I believe it is rare and it has to be a close relative like her mom or dad that are black.

o.k. either she cheated on you or she is telling the truth & if you have had a good relationship then you should trust her, but if there is still doubt in your head, take a dna test. that is the only way to know for sure.
