No one at this school wears shirts with only the Confederate flag on them but there still is apparel worn depicting the Confederate flag, such as some Lynyrd Skynyrd shirts.

This school and the issue has been all over the local news and everything along with everything else involved in a long chain of racial issues at this school for about 2 weeks now so the whole issue of racism isn't anything new to this school.

I'm all for the First Amendment and freedom of speech and expression, but in a school that already has racial problems, someone wearing a shirt with the Confederate flag is provoking problems. The administration has to look at what is best for the student body. At the same time, they have to be fair, maybe ban any printed shirts? Some schools in Denver have done this to try and curb violence (kids there have been attacked and killed for designer clothing).
