can i use ground beef with tomatoe alfredo because when I use regular alfredo sauce (the white parmesan one) i use it with chicken or shrimp, i know it does not taste good with ground beef. what about tomato alfredo??

you can ...but what you will end up with will resemble/taste more like a beef goulash...the natural juice in the beef will seep into the sauce creating this effect...what you can do is drain the meat very well and then combine it keeping the alfredo truer to form.

If you do, I would cook the beef first and make sure it is very well drained before combining with the alfredo . . . you might rinse the cooked beef in very hot water to wash away all the grease . . . my family tried "sausage alfredo" andit was waaaay too greasy for my palate.

You could try ground pork or ground veal instead....or go with the usual, and use ground chicken.

I would think a more delicate meat would go with a creamy tomato sauce. Ground beef wouldn't be so bad tho'. Try it once.
