My baby is starting to teeth and my doctor recommended that I find an old piece of soap and let the baby chew on that to sooth her gums. She says not only is it good for teething but it will also keep her breath fresh. Is this a good idea or should I just use hot candle wax instead??

Yes an old piece of soap will work, just be sure to cover it in mud first, that will help it work better. Use hot candle wax as a mouth rinse after. It works every time.

About me: I like to laugh and have a good time. People on here take things so seriously that you need someone like me to come along and put a smile on your faces. I understand that there are some serious questions on here by some very desperate people and I can respect that. But my job is to make you laugh by thinking of the most ridiculous questions and then posting them and seeing how many people take me seriously. Please don't hate me just read my post and laugh. And to all of those who enjoy my sense of humor. Thank you. I get a kick out of reading your responses

Are you kidding? Soap?!?! No, no, no, and no. Don't offer candle wax either! Choking hazard! Buy a teeter for heaven's sake.

Yeah, I just read your profile information and this site is serious for a reason. you do not need to take it upon your self to make people laugh...whilst it is serious on here, this is probably the only time in the whole day where people are serious....they have other things in their day that make them laugh.

I would freeze a carrot & use that instead. This way it doesn't hurt her & it soothes the gums as well.

I seriously hope you are trying to be funny but if you're serious you need to hurry and take some parenting courses.

What is wrong with you? Why even bother to ask a question if you can't be serious? Stop waisting everyone's time.
