Shell them, then bag them and freeze them.
Shell them, bag them, and give them as gifts over the next few weeks...people can use them in their Christmas recipes.
Make sugar/spice walnuts, package them, and give them as xmas gifts this christmas.
Grind some of them for ice cream sundaes, or to coat fish before sauteeing.
Chop them and put 'em in your cookies (toll house choc chip are good)
Are they English walnuts or BLACK walnuts?
If they are black walnuts, I think joy of cooking has a good recipe for a fantastic black walnut cake.
Make walnut pies instead of pecan pies.

Well first you have to shell them. I don't think you really need to wash them because they are protected by the shell, but I'm sure you always could if you wanted! But after that, if you don't know what to do you can always freeze them, they keep in the freezer for a long time. An awesome recipe I use with walnuts is spiced nuts (they are great during the holidays)!! Hope this helps..
