Nothing if your under 18 You will never know the difference till you get older. 1 good way to tell is just picture your mate with someone else. How that makes you feel should tell you if it's lust or love. A 2ND way is picture you two 20 years down the road with kids. If it's easy to see then It prob. is love. If it's a bit blurry then could be just love. 3rd is just to look deep in your heart, the answer is their.

depends on how old you are.if under 20 its lust.under 25 still lust.30 and over lust is not a big deal so its probably love

To me, lust is purely a selfish desire for physical pleasure, whereas to love is more selfless overwhelming feeling for another (i would happily give my life to someone i loved if need be, but not for someone i lusted after....)

Love causes a guy/girl to experience a deep connection with the other person which goes beyond a physical attraction.
Lust is purely based on a physical/sexual attraction towards the person without much concern towards getting to know their character, likes, dislikes etc.

LUST: is that animalistic craving like gorillas romping threw the wetlands, tearing and ripping at each others clothes viciously begging for the taste,...the smell...that final touch that pushes you over the edge into the pits exstacy......and LOVE is waking up next to that person and kissing them even though they have morning breath. =) NOW THATS AMORE'
