I've just heard that Italian men if they see a beauty walking in the street could sing her love songs and express admiration and even sing parts of operas? is it true?

No is a nonsense.
When we see a beautiful girl sometimes appreciate her with a "ciao bella" or "che figa".
Never sing.

Walking along the street? I was there with my ex husband and the only time I heard anyone singing was on our gondola ride!

well, i only know one guy that's full italian, and he wouldn't dream of it... he'd make one comment, then expect you to fall at his feet, then cook him dinner...
then again this one guy i know, it a basterd pretty much...
