Yep, if you do it constantly without stopping. It's a great cardio workout actually.

Yes, Speed walking is actually physically/ cardio better for you than running or jogging. Less impact on the knees, but you need to make sure it is a brisk walk, and that you raise your heart rate while doing it! Good luck!

Luckily for you, yes!! It's what I actually do b/c I absolutely HATE running. I speed walk with my daughter in her large jogging stroller so it adds more weight to my walk, thus making me work more.

its probably slightly too hassle-free for somebody who's already energetic and incredibly in shape so your greater effective off to jog for 30-40 minutes and or use a treadmill or eliptical device.... additionally u might desire to attempt lifting weights..
