whoa there..unlike other pain relievers such as hydrocodone and codeine (Lortab and Percocet) aspirin causes less drowsiness and probably won't knock you out. This is because it works mainly on prostaglandins and not in the central nervous system (CNS) like the other two I mentioned. The most common side effect of aspirin is upset stomach. It is also harder on the kidneys so people with kidney problems should stay take Tylenol instead.

Not to mention the platelet aggregation inhibiting effects. So if you do get knocked out don't hit your head or cut yourself or being unconscious will be the least of your problems.
