Ooh, no, asking may just scare him off. Just wait. See if he starts using "we" intead of "I". Guys usually do that sub-consciously if they're about to propose. If he doesn't, don't be disappointed and enjoy your current relationship.

At least he kissed you. My bf of 2 years always clears his throat when a marriage proposal is going on.

No it is not. He may have just had the urge to kiss you. If he looked at you funny or asked you what you opinion was of their situation he is trying to determine how you would react if he acted in that way.

yeah i would say its a sign could be a good one or bad one
maybe he starts kissing you to distract you so you don't get any ideas about talking marriage or could be that it gets him in the mood to talk marriage
