Isaiah 14:12 says 'How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer....'
Luke 10:18 says 'And he said unto them , I beheld satan a lightning fall from heaven.'
So, I would have to say that yes, the Bible does say that Lucifer is satan.

The Bible says that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same. Lucifer was the name of the spiritual entity before his fall from God's sight; Satan was the name given him afterward.

Both names are synonymous with the evil one.

Yes, you get the story of Lucifer from Isaiah 14:12 and it is the same being now called Satan in Revelation.

No. People who pick and choose verses show them to be the same person. In Isaiah when it tells of Lucifer, it is talking about the King of Babylon of that time. Lucifer, the Morning Star, is also a title given to Jesus himself in Revelation. So, if it's linked to anyone, it's Jesus.... not Satan. If you ask a Jew about what Satan really is, it is not a fallen angel, a separate being... Satan is that selfish part of all of us... which would explain Temptation quite well. Who needs an outside entity to help with temptation... we do quite well on our own?

By my understanding from reading and studying on different religions. Lucifer is the angel that fell from heaven and was cast down into Hell. Satan is the original entity within Hell itself. Satan is the original evil, Lucifer is the evil of disbelief... Or at least something along those lines.

Yes-

Isaiah 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

-Lucifer ( Satan when an angel ) was cast out of heaven. Now Satan is called the "prince of this world" and the devil- and the enemy. He is also called "The father of lies"

This verse pertains to those who are not walking in the truth nor believing in Jesus Christ:

John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Yes! Lucifer was a beautiful angel in heaven, but he started thinking he could take Gods place so God punished him by sending him and all of his followers into the lake of fire and his name was changed to Satan
