In my neck of the woods, it is Wild Turkey and Roses Lime Juice.
In others areas, though, it is common for the same named drink to be a completely different recipe.

Snake Bite 2

1 1/4 oz Yukon Jack
3/4 oz Triple Sec
Splash Lime Juice

Shake, pour and drink

Snake Bite 3 Chocolate Snake Bite

Ingredients
1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
1/2 oz Goldschlager
1/2 oz Irish Cream
1/2 oz Creme de Cacao

Directions
Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice, and shake until completely cold. Strain into an old-fashioned glass.

Canadian Snake Bite

1.0 oz Sambuca
3 dashes Tabasco
1.0 oz Tequila

Directions: Pour the Sambuca into a brandy snifter and the tequila seperately into a rocks or old-fashioned glass. Add a couple dashes of Tabasco sauce to the glass with tequila. Roll the Sambuca around the snifter (like a cement mixer), ignite, and allow to burn for a second or two. Pour the Sambuca into the tequila rocks glass and cap it with the brandy snifter so as to extinguish the flames.

This should form some smoke within the glasses. Carefully lift the snifter and inhale the fumes, then pound the tequila and Sambuca mixture. Packs a pretty good wallop.

I am not sure what that is but if your looking for something that is tastey enoughto gulp down like kool-aid but watch it or you might end up hollaring ralph, try this:Grab your blender, put a cup of sugar, fill w/ice, sunny d's original, and top it off with how ever many shots of vannilla vodca that you can handle. Sounds funky and pussyish but it does the trick. Now if your more of a walk the thin line drunk , as I am(which is know your limiteget a buzz keep a buzz try your best not too go overboard. Walk me downs, hurricains, Call a cabs, and oh yes my personal all time favorite Divers. Warning:Divers and call a cabs are hazzards to virgin drinkers, proceed with caution! If you haven't a care about your well being, mix 6 or seven types of liquor thrughout the night into your self shake your self up and call your self the toilets best bud! Otherwise be safe never drink and drive and don't allow your self too get so messed up you cant controll you and/or others and you should be supper straight!

Well here is a recipe for American Snakebite:
http://www.barmeister.com/cgi-bin/drink.view.pl?drink=60

And another for just Snakebite:
http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink2081.html

But both of these call for some Lager beer. My first thought was that it was a recipe made with hard cider from England- the black currant makes it seem like juice and then you try to stand and that's when you feel you've been bitten by a snake.

Peace!
