Am I right or wrong here?

Chemistry is a nicer, cleaner, more "safe feeling" way of saying "lust".

You'll notice that every bad hook-up in history gets blamed on "chemistry", but you never hear people talk about lust.

So... set me straight if I'm wrong. What's the difference?

Or is it just a nice euphamism used by people who don't want to sound even more like skanks when they sleep with a degenerate piece of trash?

Chemistry is when two people 'click' together. They just flow in thought and conversation well with each other. They can tell a bad joke and yet their partner gets it. Their partner 'gets' them. Chemistry between two people is when they can finish each others sentences. Knowing what the other is thinking before a word is even spoken. Chemistry is 'awesome' stuff to have in a relationship and it is usually good chemistry that keeps a couple together.

Lust, is exactly what the word means. You have a physical attraction to one another and lust sexually after each other, however, lust is NOT enough to keep a couple together. A relationship needs more then just a physical attraction and good sex. When you go into a relationship that is so lustful of one another, you may get a couple of years out of it together, but you will not last because the relationship is lacking very important vital necessities to make it. No one can make it on good looks and sex alone in life or a relationship........ and lust is just what its definition explains it to be. Nothing more, and nothing less. Lust is very often confussed with love....... all too often confussed with love. Blessed be.

Chemistry is when 2 people have this bond, or special feeling. It might just be one thing that the both of you share to have "chemistry" like for example, a love of art. Then you could have chemistry because you have something in common that brings you together and gives you a change to bond further.

Lust is a feeling that is more like fascination. When you think that the other person is the only one for you, that you think you love them without really knowing them. Its the feeling you feel at the beginning of a relationship. When nothing else matters to you. When you cant stop thinking about the other person and lust can be felt by just one of the people in the relationship.

It is much different.

I've actually wondered about this too.

I mean, if it's lust you still like the person, because if you didn't, wouldn't you have strong sexual desires for EVERYONE? isn't that right?

I think this "chemistry" thing is mutual. A single person, like a single real chemical, cannot have chemistry.

At least, I think that's how it goes.
