At work today I waited on a old man that could not speak English and most likely has not worked a day in the United States. This is one of many reason why Medicare is in trouble and by the time I need the benefits it will no later be around. I thought you had to work for this benefit. I have been working since the age of 14 years, now at the age 34 the goverment says Medicare is in trouble. Something is wrong with this picture! STOP USING THE WORKING PEOPLE'S BENEFITS!!! Something needs to be done about this! What's your feeling about this?

This is crazy. We have been politically correct for so long that we are actually destroying ourselves. This country cannot take much more of this. Why cant people see this. Instead of bashing each other for being a Republican/Democrat we should take a look at the immediate needs of this once great country!

Medicare, like Social Security, is insurance and one has to work in order to be eligible for it as well as meeting age requirements.
Medicare will most certainly be around when you need it unless the repiglicons and corporatist Democrats continue giving out corporate welfare and try to privatize (steal) it for the corporations.
Get upset at the correct people not someone who is likely just a working person like you. The ones who lie to your face about the problems of Medicare and then promptly try to underfund or un-fund it, you know Fox News [sic] presenters, nut-bag teabagger politicos and purchased politicians in the other two right wing U.S. parties.
Illegal aliens are not getting Medicare nor Social Security en mass these are just bald-faced lies to distract from who are really stealing from the U.S. The large multinational corporations like WalMart, IBM, Nestle, Bank of America, Haliburton, Koch, BP, Exxon, Newcorp, JP Morgan, Goldman the list goes on...
