Baked Party Ham With Bourbon And Pineapple
Ingredients
1 ham; 12-14 pound
1 whole cloves
1/2 c dark brown sugar
3 cn pineapple chunks with juice; 5 1/4 oz
1 c marmalade, orange preferred
1 c bourbon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Score ham in diamond pattern and insert cloves in the crossed points and pat brown sugar over top. Place in shallow baking pan and cook for 30 minutes. Heat pineapple, juice and marmalade together over low heat. Remove pan from heat and add bourbon. Baste frequently for 1 1/2 hours.

Wash whatever ham it is that you have. (Pork Shoulder works best). After washing it off really good, cover it all over with brown sugar, next place it in a large roaster pan and fill the pan half way with 7up soda and pin apple juice. Cover with foil and place in the oven at 350 for 2 hours, or until tender. About 5 or 10 minutes before you remove it from the oven, take the ham out and place the pineapple on top of the ham and stick in back in the oven for the remaining time.

cover ham with pineapple rings and secure with cloves. Mix juice with brown sugar and pour over ham. Bake as usual

I just buy a ham and pineapple slices. I put the slices directly on the ham (securing them with toothpicks so they don't fall off) and cook at 300 for a couple of hours.

Instead of pineapple /brown sugar I use a can of coke (12 oz) it glazes the ham nicely and tastes great . If you dont like coke you can use 7-up it works just as well . good luck and god bless.
