I had one changed before and it hurt like hell, but then the person told me that it is not normally this painful. But was she just saying this to make me feel better? So does it hurt to haev a braces bracket changed.

It is more annoying then painful. If they slip and catch the gums or cheek it can hurt, but it is usually more along the lines of pressure and then it breaks loose.

i had braces for five years and it can hurt. Most of the time I had a headache after I went. try taking some asprin about a half hour before you go to try and help keep the pain down.

It doesn't hurt too much, but then everyone's pain threshold is different. The main thing is the movement of the tooth, so any pain that way should go away the next day.

i had some changed and it didnt hurt at all, i couldnt feel them pull the old one off. maybve u hvae sensitive teeth
