Jesus said to his followers "marvel not that the world hates you,it hated me before it hated you" The book of Isiah clearly points out that Jesus would be despised and rejected by men. but "he came unto his own and his own received him not but to as many as received him to them gave he power to become the Sons of God even to them that beleived on his name" In a world ruled by Satan Jesus is always the target of the ungodly. I am a born again Christian and can testify that jesus is very much alive today as he overcame everything at the cross for me.

Everyone doesn't believe that Jesus died for their sins. Some people see the Bible as not believable because of all the non factual errors and contradictions. So they look for something that makes more intelligent sense to them instead of just being an emotional/charismatic religion like Christianity.

There are plenty of other religions besides the ones you just mentioned. But many don't get the publicity or hype that the forementioned do.

If you are looking for a certain religion, you should look up religioustolerance.org they have a list of religions from around the worlds. Such as Jainism, Shinto, Hinduism, Shamanism, Humanism, Scientology, etc. The more you know about the world around you, the more you know about yourself.

Well lets see...the non Christians things you mentioned were originally and still are talked about because Christians are the ones mainly that have talked about it. And were the ones to burn and drown people when they accused them of being witches and other things...and history of that sort has a way of sticking with people, so no wonder Christianity is talked about by the rest.

Christians were against earth based religions, and others, and now everyone else is against the Christians in some way because of all that. In a way it caused serious trust issues. Buddhists and others never broke that trust that I know of. Neither did Wiccan's, but again you all are the ones to talk about them, not the rest of us.

People go against the additional religions, too. Jehovah's Witnesses get it all the time, and as for the Jews, ever hear of a thing called the Holocaust?

Nobody really does say much about Buddhists, but I suspect that's because Buddhists leave people alone and don't make conversion attempts.

If some one walk up to you and said " Hi! I'm the son of God!. Do as I say or roast in hell! " what would your response be?

Then there's also the fact that Christianity and Islam have the worst reputations as far as religion goes. Well, at least the most negative media attention, anyways.

The problem is that humanity has no real, tangible way of verifying the Word of God. So, if people want Salvation, they have no choice but blind faith.

Your question is a little unclear.

Christians don't "go against Jesus".

You ask why don't "people" go against other religions. We may not like the religions others choose, but it is their choice. God gave us free will.

I'm not sure this answers your question.

B/c those are concepts/religions we're familiar with and they're easy targets, claiming they are the only, true religion or take the complete opposite viewpont. We either don't know enough about another religion (Islam), or are not confronted with it enough to care a lot (Judaism). Hinduism/Buddhism has some questions from curious readers but it's not provocative enough to be attacked.

People do go against Jesus, sure, but you'll find people who go against EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY. I call this Country the United States of the Offended.
Hey, in the Bible, Jesus states, "if they hated me, they're gonna hate you, too". And its true, nothing much has changed, people certainly haven't. You could have a man so rightous has to be the very Son of God himself, go into most any Church around, and teach the truth, and believe me, he will be asked to leave or shut up. But thats okay, don't worry about it - He's coming back, and this time its not as a lamb to the sacrifice, nope. He's coming back this time with a rod of iron. Thats for correction,
and boy, are they ever gonna get some correction.

Trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.

The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".

In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Christianity is the most vehement about converting non-believers. The tactics of many Christians are offensive to many, and thus people strike back, and point out all the flaws they see in that faith. The problem is at the root, bad Christians with too much pride who try to force their beliefs on others and try to intimidate and scare others into converting.
