6 x 4, that's the 1 that you get when you process a film etc also if you buy photo albums then they are genuinely in that size...

Usually, these days it is 6" x 4", whereas before the 1980s it was 5" x 3.5". To customers of Klick Photopoint here in the UK, their standard photograph size is 7.5" x 5", putting the regular size 6x4 to "small".
I can honestly say it is 6x4.

The classic sizes for photos are 5x7 and 8x10...this is because the early view cameras used these sizes for cut film. Old news cameras used cut film that was 4x5 and were very popular in their day, which is why 8x10 was used so much...other sizes came later when 35mm became popular, but framing and matting standards are still 5x7 and 8x10.

The most common is 6" x 4" (inches).
You can also get 7 x 5 and a smaller format as well.

4x6, and 5x7 are the most common sized pictures. 4x6 matt textured pictures are best for photo albums as they are easier to see and don't collect fingerprints and cause a glare while viewing the picture.
