Yes. Dr/Dentist, insurance premiums, prescriptions, glasses, contacts, medical miles(14cents a mile). Any of these items you pay out of pocket. Then, you can only deduct the amount over 7.5% of your AGI, and then you can only deduct that if you itemize. Most people don't get much medical if any.

In general, yes, but not for purely cosmetic stuff (i.e. whitening, not-necessary braces, etc.)
