hi, im planning on buying a digital camera this christmas, but i want one that has features that let me turn on and off the flash, and one that has a long self timer more than 10 sec atleast.

I got a Kodak Easyshare on Ebay 4.0Mega Pixels has the option of 10 seconds or 2 seconds on the timer has several flash options. I got mine for less than $100 & I love it! Mine is a c310& has digital zoom.

Most of the mid-level or above digicams will have those features. Go to www.dpreview.com or stevesdigicams.com and you can research camera features and read reviews from users and professionals.
Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji and maybe Kodak will have a camera that meets your specs.

The best place to research this is either www.cnet.com or www.epinons.com. They are always great for the best reviews. I used them when I bought mine. I have a Cannon, and I love it, but don't know about the flash features.
