Battling with the other half rarely does much good. Just be the best parent figures you can for his daughter. Try to keep a positive co-operative relationship between the girls parents. Make a stand if and when you are sure you must, just be sure she will benefit from it more than she will lose or be hurt by the conflict between her parents. She already been hurt a lot, no doubt.

Well, I would say get in touch with authorities(police, lawyer) and let them know what is going on. You don't want your boyfriend to get arrested for kidnapping charges. (I've had a friend go through that). If you stay honest and open with everyone, then it will look good on your part. In the meantime, enjoy his little girl, take good care of her, and let her know she's loved. She may be feeling abandoned not knowing when mom is coming back, but a lot of TLC wil help her through it.

Best wishes and good luck with everything!
