Try some natural prducts like aussie or sunsilk- but I found (because I have long straight thick hair) if you put it up in a bun lets say then after about an hour take it out...it will stay less poofy, also humidity may cause your problem.

What I do with mine from looking so poofy; is after I take a shower, I comb my hair, and put loads of hairgel in it and then some hairspray. From that point on, it stays down and curly. But if you're like my son...(he's black and Hispanic) you would prolly need some hair grease with it. I noticed that hair grease works good for his hair texture. Other than that, all I could say is get your straighten (yourself or professionally). Good luck!!

pantene - no it will only dry ur hair out
im mixed too.... so ive tried A LOT of products...
avoid anything with alcohol in it...(most white products)
try to use creams n stuff..
i like Visible Changes leave in conditioner whenever i wear my hair down
paul mitchell works good
and so does the matrix's curl line
chi products work good too
ummmm i use this soft n pretty orange creme...it works good...

great information and great products. my daughter is African American/Australian and has 1/4 inch spiral curls.
cute for everyone who doesnt have to take care of her hair and has no idea about what it really takes to have her hair looking shiny, natural and not frizzy!
these products actually do work. if you cant afford the whole line up for your hair then i would suggest the Asian Hair Tea Conditioner, the moisturising spray and one of the finishing products.

because of the fact they are stupid, lonely and pathetic. They be conscious of now not something and get what they get from a television. i'm gentle. long hair. White human beings have have been given to cook dinner themselves all day and nighttime to have some style of their race. They get mad because of the fact we are born with organic style.

i use treseme leave in conditioner in my hair and add gel.
i also get a straightner in my hair every few months.
sometimes i use rollers and a straightening comb .

use garnier sleek n shine and then flat iron your hair it will come out really pretty and use all of the sleek n shine hair line

got the same hair...use chi products and biosilk products...to moisturize ur hair and stuff
